Brecon is a welcoming town in the mid-south of Wales, just on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park. It is not too far from Llandovery, another popular refuge for holidaymakers, so accommodation is easy to come by. The course is nine-hole layout but when played twice that yardages stretch to 5, 600 yards, so it is certainly not your quintessential short nine-holer. For those who are not especially straight from the tee all the time, Brecon can be quite a test as its fairways are anything but wide and the greens are fairly small. |
