Welshpool was the brainchild of the legendary and prolific golf course architect James Braid, winner of five Open Championships. Stutt even claimed that Welshpool offered more spectacular shots than that of Braid's most famous course, Gleneagles, and that claim should be reason enough to make the trip. |
