Bridgend is a friendly nine-hole pay and play course and one that remains popular with many in the area who just fancy a few quick holes as opposed to organising a whole day of golf.

The course is short but very sweet with the opening hole featuring out-of-bounds on the right and the green guarded by bunkers both left and right. The third is another good hole; this time a dogleg that's made trickier by three ditches across the fairway and all within catching distance of your ball.

The ninth is a good finishing hole that requires a long shot to a fairly small target protected by a bunker to the front right edge.
