As the name suggests, this course has a connection with the British Steel Works in Port Talbot. It is part of the British Steel Sports & Social Club there and, while fairly short, there is water which comes into play at a number of its nine holes.
The difficulty factor can be increased by cross-winds and the par-3s in particular can be tricky as these are well guarded by bunkers. Newcomers to the game would find this an excellent place to try and improve, especially as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get on the course.
