Having been founded in 1905, Llanishen is one of Cardiff's older golf clubs and along with its neighbours Cardiff, Whitchurch and St Mellons is ever inch worth the visit.
The 18-hole parkland course is full of character and presents a test to even the more gifted of players. A road which leads to the clubhouse splits the course in two, with seven holes to your left as you enter and the remainder facing away and more in the direction of the city.
Lengthwise it may be slightly shorter than the neighbouring Cardiff courses but that doesn't mean it is easy by any stretch of the imagination.
