Established in 1875, Pontnewydd is one of Wales' older clubs and is slightly different from the rest. It has eleven different holes, seven of which are played twice and from separate tees to form your full 18 holes. The course isn't long and stretches to just over 5, 000 yards, but, being a mountain-type course, there are some tough examinations throughout your round.

Pontnewydd are the current Welsh Team Champions and later this year, for the third time in the club's history, they will represent the principality of Wales by competing for the Albacom Trophy against the might of Europe.
