Take one look at the par here - 74 - and you'll know that a stiff test of golf awaits. The Mountain Lakes course was designed by Bob Sandow and opened in 1988, six years after its little sister, the nine-hole Castell Heights layout. Mountain Lakes is set in a vast area of mountain heathland and it's the sort of course where you simply can't afford to let your guard down. Make that mistake and you'll pay the price. Most of the fairways are tree-lined while water also comes into play at a number of holes. Sion Bebb is the professional here and visitors enjoy excellent facilities. The cost of playing Mountain Lakes is also very reasonable. |
