This nine-hole par-3 course is attached to the Old Rectory Hotel & Conference Centre at Llangattock in Monmouthshire. It is mainly used by hotel guests but, no doubt attracted by the excellent green fee rate of £10 per day, it also attracts its fair share of local golf enthusiasts. It's a parkland course which is set in apple orchards while a wildlife pond guards the green at the 9th/18th holes. The longest hole on the course measures 225 yards but don't let that put you off. In fact, it is just as easy sometimes to enjoy yourself on a course like this as it is on a more testing layout. |
