Founded in 1965 in the old historic town of Flint in North Wales, this course is set out in scenic surroundings in woodlands that envelop Cornist Hall.
The course enjoys unspoilt views over the Dee Estuary towards the Wirral and winds its way through some spectacular terrain. Simply keeping your eye on the task at hand is a challenge in itself, but certainly a welcome one.
Each hole offers a stern test of patience and skill and there are a few approach shots that will have you debating over your club selection, especially if the wind picks up.
