Founded in 1993, Northop Golf Club, located around three miles to the south of Flint, is one of the best venues for golf in the north of Wales.
The course is the work of former Ryder Cup player and renowned golf coach John Jacobs. It is in among 300 acres of awe-inspiring parkland and features an abundance of tall trees creating a feeling that you are playing in a world of your own. With numerous teeing areas it's a fair test for all golfers of all abilities.
The course opened in 1994 (becoming a Members Club in 2014) and immediately hosted the Welsh PGA National Championships before going on to play host to a number of top amateur events and regional competitions now the host of the PGA Cheshire & North Wales Open played every year in June.
Societies (8+ golfers) are always and receive a warm welcome at Northop; there are packages to suit all your requirements. As a CASC registered Golf Club there is no charge for charities using the golf course; phone or email for further details (terms and conditions apply).
